Welcome to Phil’s Salesforce Tip of the Week #532
Tip 1 – LWC.studio
Earlier this month saw the launch of LWC.studio. It’s billed as a ‘dedicated online IDE for editing Lightning Web Components using Salesforce’s design system.’
Have you used it yet? Let us know what you think.
Tip 2 – Skiforce
Skiforce is back next week; Friday 9th to Sunday 11th December, in Obergurgl, Tyrol, Austria.
Expect Salesforce sessions, skiing and snowboarding at ‘the Highest European Salesforce Community Event‘.
The keynote speakers will be Zayne Turner lead Architect Relations at Salesforce, and René Winkelmeyer who works as Senior Director for Developer Relations at Salesforce.
Tip 3 – MVP Deadline
Don’t forget to vote for your Salesforce peers who you think deserve to become a Salesforce MVP. You can also vote for yourself…
There are many people out there in the eco-system worthy of your vote, so think careful and get voting!
The deadline is SUNDAY 4th December, 11.59pm (PST).
Tip 4 – Bret Taylor
After a year of being promoted to co-CEO, Bret Taylor is stepping down. The news was announced on Wednesday that he will be leaving the post at the end of January 2023.
Bret joined in 2016 and played a key part in the $27.1 acquisition of Slack, which was Salesforce’s largest transaction ever.
“We have to let him be free, let him go, and I understand, but I don’t like it. And Bret, you know that you’re always going to be our brother. We love you deeply, you have a home here, we’re gonna try to get you back somehow. ” Benioff
